The actress opens up about welcoming her fourth child with Machine Gun Kelly, filming while newly pregnant, and embracing the power of motherhood at any age.
Megan Fox is reclaiming the narrative around age, motherhood, and feminine power — one honest revelation at a time.
The Jennifer’s Body actress, now 39, took to Instagram on May 21 to share an empowering message alongside a clip from her new Amazon Prime TV series Overcompensating. In the post, Fox revealed that she was six weeks pregnant while filming the show — a pregnancy she describes as “unplanned but a happy surprise.”
“👀 38 years old six weeks pregnant (unplanned but a happy surprise),” Fox wrote over the video. “Please stop listening to the patriarchy. Women are eternal light beings ✨ We do not have an expiration date.”
She continued with a call to empowerment: “Don’t let them rob you of your power. Anyway… watch @overcompensating 🤷🏻♀️😂.”
Welcoming Baby No. 4
Fox gave birth to her fourth child — a daughter and her first with former fiancé Machine Gun Kelly (Colson Baker), 35 — on March 27, 2025. The newborn, affectionately called their “celestial seed” by MGK, was introduced to the world through a touching black-and-white video on his Instagram, showing him gently holding her tiny hand.
“She’s finally here!! our little celestial seed 🥹💓♈️♓️♊️,” he captioned the video.
The actress is also a proud mom to three sons — Noah (12), Bodhi (11), and Journey (8) — from her previous marriage to actor Brian Austin Green.
Love, Transition, and Co-Parenting
Though Fox and MGK announced their engagement in January 2022, the couple called it quits in late November 2024, just months before the birth of their daughter. Despite parting ways romantically, the former couple remains committed to raising their child together.
A source close to the pair confirmed that, while they are no longer romantically involved, MGK stays at Fox’s home part-time to co-parent their daughter.
“Megan and Colson are not back together,” the insider told PEOPLE. “Their relationship remains focused strictly on co-parenting their baby girl. While Colson does occasionally stay at Megan’s house, it’s only part-time and solely to spend time with the baby.”
“They’re committed to being present for their daughter, but they’re not living together or romantically involved,” the source emphasized.
Defying Expectations, Embracing Strength
Fox’s candid reflection is not just a personal anecdote but a bold statement on defying societal norms — particularly the ones that attempt to place limits on women’s roles, timelines, and possibilities. Her words remind women everywhere that age does not define capability, beauty, or the right to new beginnings.
From starring in a new series while navigating early pregnancy to welcoming a child in the midst of personal transformation, Megan Fox continues to prove that strength, softness, and evolution can coexist.
And as she eloquently puts it: “Women are eternal light beings. We do not have an expiration date.”
